Do your products have an expiration date?

Our products do not have an expiration date. However, there is a shelf life after opening the product. Each product has an icon on its packaging (illustrating an open jar) that indicates the shelf life after opening, expressed in months.

Your products are sold in China. So your products are tested on animals!

We are against testing products on animals.
However, we market our products in China where testing is sometimes required by local regulations. These tests are not carried out by René Furterer but by laboratories accredited by the Chinese authorities, regardless of our wishes.

How can I be reassured about the quality and safety of your products?

The safety of our consumers is a top priority. In accordance with European legislation, each of our products is evaluated by an expert toxicologist before being placed on the market.

The product safety assessment is based on three analyses:

- evaluation of the safety of raw materials
- evaluation of the safety of the finished product
- cosmetovigilance: our customer services monitor the tolerance of marketed products in order to answer consumers' questions and to collect any information that is likely to help the brand to progress.
