Totally innovative, our exclusive and patented extraction processes are performed by the state-of-the-art laboratory in Gaillac, in the south of France.

Thanks to years of work on this extraction process, we isolate the molecules that produce the intensity of the colored pigments from the heart of the plants and bring them to high concentration. In this way, only the active part of the plant is used. This also makes IVIVE hair dye compatible with chemical dyes.

The result? Fine powders composed of precious color molecules and free of unnecessary substances. And in a controlled way each time resulting in standardized extracts. The content of active plant ingredients is standardized, regardless of the batch of plants, to guarantee the color result.

Why this partnership with René Furterer?

In the summer of 2018, I met the teams at the press launch I was working on for Okara Color and had had the opportunity to use in salons. We shared a common vision of naturalness and the desire to protect the hair during the coloring sessions. On this occasion, we were able to discuss our values and my point of view as a colorist who has advocated for the exclusive use of natural dyes and plant-based ingredients since the very beginning of my brand Romain Colors. So, naturally, the teams told me that they wanted to develop a new generation of plant-based coloring, which the R&D teams had already been working on for some time. 

How did you work with René Furterer teams on the development of this professional range?

First, I was invited to give my point of view as a colorist on the results of the work carried out over the last few years by the R&D team in their research center in Toulouse. I was immediately excited about the project. I had already collaborated in the past on projects involving gentle chemical dyeing and I knew that my passion for research and the knowledge I had gained about phytochemistry could further strengthen my expertise on this beautiful project. I suggested to the brand that with the advantages of this coloring, it could undoubtedly replace the chemical colorings known as tone on tone. And so this was the direction we took together.

What makes IVIVE different from other plant-based colorants already on the market?
