In preparation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in partnership with the Fake Hair Don’t Care Organization, we are setting up a special initiative: collection of hair donations to make natural wigs for people with cancer.

The Fake Hair Don’t Care Organization

Based in France, this association was created in 2016. Since then, it has been collecting hair donations to produce personalized wigs for cancer patients. As such, it contributes to the well-being of those suffering.
With the collected natural hair, wigmakers are able to create totally customized wigs. The non-profit organization offers unique pieces whose price is calculated based on the family quotient of each person.

Today, we’re giving you an even more important reason to take care of your hair: to donate it to another woman who can regain her femininity, adorned with a magnificent wig of natural hair.

We are launching this operation as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022, in partnership with our hairdressers. 
Ideally, you should let your hair grow to a length of at least 10 centimeters. 
The hair grows one centimeter a month on average, so it's time to start growing your hair now!

HOW TO DONATE LOCKS OF YOUR HAIR?

  • 01Pour créer de belles perruques, l’association a besoin de cheveux en bonne santé. Tous les cheveux sont acceptés (colorés ou méchés) tant qu’ils ne sont pas trop fourchus.

    De la partie coupée jusqu’à la pointe, vos cheveux doivent mesurer au minimum 10 centimètres. S’ils sont trop abîmés, ils ne pourront pas être utilisés.

    Nos coiffeurs partenaires s’occuperont de la coupe des mèches. Ils positionneront un premier élastique à la longueur de coupe souhaitée, puis un deuxième élastique plus bas. Et ils couperont les cheveux au-dessus de l’élastique du haut.
