COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

The procurement of Pfaffia roots is exclusively carried out alongside a producer cooperative that is certified Fair for Life in organic farming and fair trade by ECOCERT.

COMMITMENT TO SOCIETY

Partnered with small local producers, René Furterer helps stabilize rural life by working solely with the association of ginseng producers in Querência do Norte (ASPAG). Since 2005, the amount paid to farmers has increased fivefold. By doing this, René Furterer helps diversify the agricultural activities of small producers in a region where the main crops are GMO crops destined for export.

COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Through the production of Pfaffia, René Furterer is committed to fight against deforestation, and to preserve local plant resources. The program, based in a biosphere reserve in the Atlantic forest in the Amazon basin, is sustainably certified.
