"STUDIO" BY RENÉ FURTERER

Fall-Winter 2016/17 hairdressing collection

Perfectly defined or perfectly wild, neat corkscrews or texturized clouds… from Fashion Week to the high street, the delicate architecture of curls are making a comeback. For the Fall-Winter 2016/17 hair collection, René Furterer explores the versatility of the curl. Four looks each express the newfound freedom of the voluptuous natural texture of hair.

RENÉ FURTERER FOR ZUHAIR MURAD

Fall-Winter 2016 haute couture collection

For the first time, René Furterer is a hairstyling partner for a Haute Couture runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Diego da Silva, hairstylist for René Furterer, envisioned a simple hairstyle where the spotlight was on the hair’s substance, with discreet waves.
For glossy, satiny hair, texturize the lengths with a blend of VOLUMEA Volumizing conditioning spray and NATURIA Detangling spray. Then, curl a few sections with an iron before deconstructing them with the fingertips for a soft-focus finish. And to provide a lasting effect for the catwalk, finish with a mist of STYLE Vegetal finishing spray.

RENÉ FURTERER FOR CÉDRIC CHARLIER

Fall-Winter 2016/17 collection

Cédric Charlier looks for next winter are inspired by old photographs of seafarers. The collection revisits emblematic pieces such as the pea coat, the marinière, and the classic thick-cotton sailor trousers.

To transcribe this maritime ambiance, the hairstylist Damien Boissinot for René Furterer created a knotted ponytail like a ship’s rope with a salty texture with VOLUMEA Volumizing foam, NATURIA Dry shampoo, STYLE Modeling paste, STYLE Vegetal finishing spray and STYLE Sculpting spray.

RENÉ FURTERER FOR VANESSA SEWARD

Fall-Winter 2016/17 collection

On the banks of the Seine, at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Vanessa Seward presents her vision for next winter:
a Parisian with an air of nonchalance yet still as elegant as ever.
At the helm of the hairdressing team, Damien Boissinot, hairstylist for René Furterer, imagined a ‘70s crimped hair tamed into a low ponytail with STYLE Vegetal finishing spray, LISSEA Thermal-protecting smoothing spray and VOLUMEA Volumizing conditioning foam.

RENÉ FURTERER FOR ZIMMERMAN

Spring-Summer 2016 collection

Backstage at the Zimmerman SS16 show, hair stylist Brent Lawler for René Furterer took inspiration from the high-necked romantic Victorian creations to play with contrasts. Flowy, textured hair is tied into a strict bun. Matte, natural hair is adorned with an ultra-reflective silver or gold foil handmade jewel. Brent used STYLE Vegetal sculpting gel to sculpt the hair into a chignon, STYLE Modelling paste for texture on the top near the hairline, and STYLE Ultra sculpting solution to hold the final look in place.

RENÉ FURTERER FOR VÉRONIQUE LEROY

Spring-Summer 2016 collection

For next spring, Véronique Leroy imagines a sexy young intellectual’s wardrobe, both sharp and rebellious, with a bourgeois twist. Hair order of the day: a lunar chignon. James Pecis, hairstylist for René Furterer, created a deliberately uneven style, thought-through but intended to appear random, with STYLE Vegetal finishing spray and NATURIA Dry shampoo, STYLE Vegetal mousse and STYLE Ultra-sculpting solution.
